No, considering the expansion is solely for existing characters. You won't be able to create a GW:EN character...you will still create your characters in one of the three campaigns.

No...that has been clearly stated previously. Since the expansion is for existing characters and there are no new professions...there is no need for additional character slots.

Think of GW:EN as a high end content update...just much bigger than any of the previous content updates like Sorrow's Furnace or Domain of Anguish.
